Acquire webpconverter.io. Skip the build cycle.

What you acquire

A finished product, not a mockup.

I built the foundation carefully so the next owner can spend time improving, integrating and growing it instead of starting from an empty repository.

Domain asset

webpconverter.io and the product identity built around it, along with the site's existing blog and SEO groundwork.

Complete codebase

The production website and the browser-side conversion implementation used to operate the platform.

Custom UI / UX

Responsive interface work for desktop and mobile, including the current minimal editorial visual system.

Multi-mode converter

Forward conversion, reverse conversion and designer tools in one focused platform rather than a single one-function page.

Responsive experience

Desktop and mobile layouts designed as one consistent product experience.

30-day support & handover

Structured technical handover plus 30 days of reasonable post-sale support to help you get settled.

Product proof

See the product before you buy it.

A closer look at the live converter. The full experience is available to try at webpconverter.io.

The WebP Converter interface in reverse mode, converting WebP images back to JPEG or PNG

Live product / reverse conversion mode

Switch to WebP to JPEG / PNG, pick an output format and drop files straight in.

Technical foundation

Built to keep image processing in the browser.

I built the core conversion workflow around browser-side processing, so the image work happens on the user’s device rather than depending on a server-side conversion API.

Core architecture

  • Image conversion is performed in the user’s browser.
  • Canvas-based processing is used in the current converter implementation.
  • Batch runs process files in parallel rather than one at a time.
  • WebP export is handled directly in the client-side workflow.
  • No server-side conversion API is required for the core workflow.

Important distinction

“Browser-based” does not mean the entire website has zero infrastructure costs. Hosting, domain, bandwidth, third-party services and future development can still create operating costs. The acquisition claim is narrower and more defensible: the core image-conversion workload is processed on the user’s device.

Strategic fit

Why an existing tool company could care.

The strongest buyers are businesses that already understand SEO, image optimisation, web performance, WordPress, developer utilities or free-tool acquisition funnels. A buyer can skip the initial build cycle: the interface, conversion workflows, responsive presentation, domain acquisition and early-stage site structure are already in place.

SEO and web-tool suites

Add a practical image utility to an existing collection of free web tools.

Image optimisation products

Pair conversion intent with existing compression, delivery or optimisation products.

WordPress businesses

Use the platform as an adjacent utility, acquisition channel or future plugin product.

Tool-platform operators

Acquire a finished product instead of starting a new utility from an empty repository.

Expansion paths

Multiple ways to build on top of it. These are ideas I see for the next owner — they are not claims of existing revenue.

Advertising

Monetise free utility traffic subject to ad-network policies and eligibility.

Premium plan

Introduce higher limits, advanced processing or premium workflows.

API

Turn the conversion capability into a developer-facing service.

Image toolkit

Expand into compression, optimisation, resizing and related image utilities.

Transparent status

Exactly what exists today.

I would rather show you the real position than dress it up with sales language.

FAQ

The questions a buyer will ask.

Is webpconverter.io generating revenue today?

No. The site is not monetised beyond optional donations and a single homepage ad placement. There are no subscriptions, no paid tiers and no claimed revenue figures in this listing.

What exactly is included for £3,470?

The webpconverter.io domain, the full platform and source code, the responsive design work, the browser-based conversion engine, and 30 days of post-sale support. The final asset inventory is agreed during due diligence.

Does the product require server-side image conversion?

No. The core conversion workflow runs in the user’s browser, so there is no server-side conversion API required to operate it.

Are the traffic and search figures guaranteed?

No. The figures shown are from Google Analytics and Google Search Console and describe past performance only. They are not a guarantee of future traffic, rankings, clicks or revenue.

Why is the project being sold?

It was built as a focused side project and it deserves more attention than I can give it alongside client work. An owner who can integrate it or grow it properly will get more out of it than I will.

Can I review the product before making an offer?

Yes. The live platform is public — try it at https://webpconverter.io — and you are welcome to ask technical or asset questions directly by email before agreeing to anything.
